About Lighting Directory

Buying lighting online usually starts in the wrong place: a search results page with ten thousand pendants and no sense of which stores are actually worth your time. Lighting Directory starts one step earlier — with the stores themselves.

We organize online lighting retailers by what they carry (chandeliers, pendants, sconces, lamps), the styles they lean toward (modern, farmhouse, minimalist, vintage), and the rooms they serve. Each store gets a profile you can scan in thirty seconds, with links to related categories and similar stores.

A few principles keep the directory honest:

• Listings, not endorsements. Profiles describe how a store is categorized. They are not reviews, ratings, or recommendations.
• No invented claims. We do not publish pricing, inventory, shipping promises, or verification badges we cannot stand behind. Those details live on the retailer's own site.
• Manual review. Stores enter the directory through editorial review, including submissions from the submit a store page. Nothing is published automatically.
